Some News About WinterNode

As some of you are aware, WinterNode has recently changed ownership. WinterNode is now owned and managed by HostVenom LLC, a company that's been in the hosting business since early 2012. We're registered in New York state.

As gamers ourselves, we understand that you only want the best service possible - and we're here to deliver. So we're not going to change everything that makes WinterNode, WinterNode. We're not going to close it down. We're not going to just transfer you over to our brands. We're going to keep WinterNode alive, we're going to keep it growing, and we're going to make it even better!

Just to keep you updated, here's what we've already done:

  1. Moved to our new PayPal account. This means all current subscriptions have been canceled. You will need to create a new subscription - make sure your invoice isn't overdue!
  2. Moved WHMCS and Pterodactyl to our own servers.
  3. Gained access to all relevant accounts
  4. Put a plan in motion for a smooth transfer of ownership

...and here's what we're going to do over the next few days...

  1. Move all current game servers to our own Intel Core i9-9900K node in Chicago, IL. This will require an IP change, but it will be the last IP change you ever have to do with WinterNode!
  2. Make some staffing decisions. We plan on keeping some of the current staff team that you know and love.
  3. Finalize and update pricing. Your pricing stays the same on any existing service, but new services may be (slightly) more expensive.
  4. Launch new types of game servers and other services, so we can serve you better!
