In regards to the widespread DDoS attacks starting from 4/4/2021.
For nearly two weeks now, our network has been under siege by a large, diverse, and complex DDoS attack. The WinterNode team has explored the attack types, volumes, and sources in detail to better understand how to mitigate these attacks in the future. We have made additional changes on the back end to protect our network in the future.
We have made significant internal enhancements and developed new partnerships to quickly mitigate similar attacks in the future. While we are not increasing our DDoS mitigation capacity, we will now be able to maintain the quality of our service, network, and routing in the event of similar attacks.
